We had the opportunity to shoot something awesome yesterday that we're sooo excited about. We were asked to photograph a feature for Gabrielle with FLF Productions. She was selected as a featured coordinator for Bride and Bloom Magazine, first one from Dallas! If you guys haven't checked out this magazine, you should! | Ann + Kin : Wedding |
|
We have been major blog slackers! We had to cancel a lot of sessions last week due to bad weather so we hibernated with the cold weather, forgive us! :)
We had the pleasure of shooting Ann + Kin's wedding this past weekend and it was by far one of the smoothest weddings we have shot. Ann + Kinn are two of the sweetest and kindest people we know. We were completely honored to have shot their wedding and to have shared in their memories. Wedding ceremony was located at the Arlington Chinese Church and reception was at the beautiful Renaissance Hotel in Dallas. Hope you guys are having fun on your honeymoon. See you when you get back!

| We were able to sneak away for a little bit after the ceremony to do some shots of just them two. I highly recommend setting aside some time for these kind of shots. |

| We're still alive! We’ve been on a small hiatus and will resume our blogging with some cool sessions next week. It has been a great week of catching up and “some” relaxing. There are a lot of new and exciting things to come for Perez Photography. A studio is in the works and a few other things as well and we couldn’t be more excited about it. Stay tuned for more on that in the coming months... In the meantime here is a picture of us from this past weekend with our good friend Kay, make-up extraordinaire, at Dolce for a friend’s birthday. It was great to re-connect with old friends and new friends alike. ☺ |

Look at how much she has grown in just 3 months! I shot Corinne's first pictures 3 months ago when she was only 13 days old. She is now a little over 3 months and ever so beautiful. Here are a few of my favorites. Looking forward to her 6 months pictures and seeing them all again!

| Kathy + Juan : Wedding |

I had the pleasure of shooting Kathy + Juan's wedding this past saturday. Everything turned out beautifully! Kathy looked gorgeous. I personally know Kathy from when I was younger so it was great to see a lot of familiar faces at the wedding. The wedding was held at the First United Methodist Church of Richardson , the arhictecture of this church is amazing and the reception was held at Addison Theatre and Conference Center. I am not that great of a writer so I will keep this post short! Here are a few of my favorites:

| Ann : Bridal Part 2 |

| The day we did Ann's bridal it was supposed to rain so we had to shoot at the Meyerson as backup. She had her heart set on doing some outdoor photos but because of the rain we weren't able to finish our session outside that day. We were able to meet up again to do a second location without the ugly rain! Here are a few of my favorites: |

| Jennifer + George : Engagement |
|
We were able to shoot Jennifer + George's engagement pictures last week and booooy was it cold! It was the coldest it has been in Dallas in a very long time. We have the weirdest weather here, just that day it was like 40 degrees maybe less and today it is a beautiful 70 degrees. They are getting married in April and I can't wait till their wedding, sounds like it is going to be awesome! Jennifer + George, Hope you guys like these!

| Elvira + Lorenzo : Wedding |
|
Let us preface this by saying we know we've been bad bloggers lately! We have taken some much needed time off to have some rest during the holidays. We will resume the posts as much as we can. :)
We shot an awesome wedding this past Saturday. Elvira + Lorenzo are two of the kindest people we know and are soooo much in love. She was beaming with joy to be getting married, it was really beautiful to see. We were glad to be a part of it. They both live in New York but were married here at the Cathederal of Guadalupe in Downtown Dallas and the reception was held at the ever so beautiful Belo Mansion. Elvira's mom actually made her wedding dress which we thought was amazing, it was so detailed and beautiful.
Elvira + Lorenzo, thanks for allowing us to share this day with you!
Oh and thanks to Carri for coming out with us to second shoot, more like 3rd shoot! We can't wait to see some of her shots too!

We got to shoot Elvira and Lorenzo's wedding this past Saturday and had shot her bridals the week before but she wanted us to hold off on posting these. She looked amazing! We will be posting some shots from their wedding this week too.

We want to wish everyone a very Happy New Year. As far as New Year's resolutions... those don't tend to work out so much huh? My only resolution this year is to make more time for us and for our friends and families.
We hope that 2008 brings everyone great things! Stay tuned for our New Years Card. We will post it later this week. :) |
