On Monday August 27th our two goddaughters Nadia and Jocelyn, started school. It was the first official day of Pre-K for Jocelyn and first day of Kindergarten for Nadia. When they were born we never ever thought that two little girls could make us so happy. They are the most beautiful children anyone can ever have and we are lucky to have been chosen to be their godparents. We don't miss a holiday, a first day of school, a ballet dance, or a birthday, and hope that we never have to. Here are a few shots that I took that morning - Tanya Here is Jocelyn in the car super excited on her way to school. We thought we were going to see tears like we did last year with Nadia. But she put on a brave face and was super excited to go.

Just wanted to let everyone know that our main website is currently down. :( This is the message you will see, "The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to the site owner reaching his/her bandwidth limit. We love engagement shoots! Nakita and Eric's wedding is right around the corner on September 8th so were glad we were able to get this shoot in before the big day. We shot these on top of their Downtown Dallas loft and the view was AMAZING. They have great taste so we know their wedding is going to be awesome, stay tuned for the wedding pictures… Hope you like them Nakita and Eric!

So we were tagged in this little game of blog tag that photographers have been doing by Tawny Williams So since Cesar couldn’t come up with 8 facts on the spot here goes mine… 1) I don’t like to eat in the dark; I know what you’re thinking, “No one likes to eat in the dark.” No I mean even if there is sunlight outside I turn on the lights. I like to eat when it’s brightly lit. 2) I count my steps. Not all the time! Just sometimes. That is the only OCD thing I have about me, I think? 3) I fall asleep during most movies …that’s just my thing. Anytime the lights are off I get sleepy. When Cesar and I began dating almost 6 years ago he used to basically pay for me to fall asleep at the movies every weekend. ? 4) I like to sing; I always wanted to be a singer growing up. 5) I like old school hip-hop. 6) I want to learn how to play the piano so bad. Maybe this year I will get around to learning. 7) I check my email about 50 times a day. 8) Cesar has two left feet so he’s taking salsa dance lessons. (I know the 8 were supposed to be about me, but I just had to!)

We had the pleasure of shooting Jennifer and Quinton's wedding last night at the beautiful Adam's Mark hotel. They booked us a while back so we had been looking forward to this wedding for a while. Had a lot of fun shooting these yesterday. We absolutely love when our couples are open to my crazy ideas of going into alleys and getting inside bushes!
