We promised we would share our news as it came. So we wanted to show you all pictures of our new studio! The lease has been signed and now we have TONS of work to do. We couldn't be any happier with the location and the neighborhood in where the space is at. (More on that soon also) It is AWESOME. We will be doing weekly updates with our renovation pictures and pictures of the neighborhood starting at the end of next week. We have so much in store, tons of traveling, we are moving into a new place in the next couple of weeks as well as working on the studio. Hopefully we don't pull our hair out by the end of this! | Jennifer + Adam : Wedding |
|
Jennifer + Adam were married this past week in the Big Easy! This was our first time in New Orleans and even though our trip was short we ended up having a lot of fun. They are such rock stars! They wanted to pick a place that was "them" and we think it was PERFECT. We will be heading back to New Orleans next week and are looking forward to exploring a bit more. Jennifer + Adam, thank you for being such great hosts and for being so attentive and awesome to us. We look forward to seeing you guys again soon. Here are some of our favorites:

Gillette + Zach were married this past weekend at the beautiful Dallas Arboretum. This was our 3rd time shooting there in the last 2 months and we always love it. Gillette + Zach are such an amazing couple, so down to earth and kind. We had a blast shooting their wedding. Here are some of our favorites:

We love Christine + Jeff, they have been nothing short of amazing since the first day we met. Christine + Jeff were married this past weekend at the Dallas Arboretum. We love shooting there. Unfortunately Hurricane Ike was heading our way that day so everything was moved inside. Nothing was going to stop them from getting married and starting their lives together. | Katie + Thomas : Wedding |
|
| Katie + Thomas were married recently in Parker, Texas. This definitely has to be on our top 10 favorite weddings we have ever shot. They literally did EVERYTHING themselves and were so creative with it. Not to mention that they are both such sweet and great people. The ceremony was at an old church in her town that has been there since the 1800's! They had the reception at her mother's house which made it so much more intimate and awesome. The super cool bridesmaids... You might remember Heidi (In the Middle) from Michelle + Edwin's wedding back in July, she was a bridesmaid in the wedding also that day. It was awesome to see Michelle again too!

| Instead of a cake they had friends and family make cakes and they each had a little frame with a cool name on it. So original. And instead of champagne they toasted to retro coke bottles. Which they actually got in Mexico the day they got engaged! The same exact bottles. :) |

Christine + Jeff are getting married this weekend! They wanted to do their engagement session with bright colored walls and graffiti walls so we headed over to Downtown Dallas again and had a lot of fun. Loved it. | I have been shooting a TON in Downtown Dallas these last couple of weeks and had the pleasure of meeting up with Leo + Virginia for their engagement session near the Museum. They really liked that location and we were more than happy to oblige. :) They are getting married this coming up January, unfortunately we were already booked but were excited to shoot their engagement session. Vanessa + Jessica of Contemporary portraits are such sweet girls. They had e-mailed us a while back wanting to meet up for lunch or dinner and asked if they could photograph us. I will admit, I was reluctant at first, I think I am completely unphotogenic. (Is that even a word?) But we ended up having a lot of fun hanging out with them and having our pictures taken. It is always SO weird to be on the other side of the camera and it's always to make great new friends! Vanessa + Jessica, thanks so much for offering to do these for us. Here are some that we've seen so far, check us out!
My makeup was done by one of my best friends, Kay Castro. I am lucky to have such awesome friends. She is amazing and I love her. :)
**On a side note: We will be signing the lease to our new studio next week in Addison. We are SUPER excited and we will be posting pictures of the whole process. Starting with the location next week. :)
